" Breathtaking scenery on Dingle Peninsula. At the Blasket Islands Centre learn about the way of life on the remote islands evacuated by its inhabitants in 1953. Via quant Adare, head for the city of Limerick."
CLARION LIMERICK
We left the hotel early and had another amazing day of breathtaking scenery, fine sunny weather for the most part and another day that makes you realise how beautiful Ireland is!
This part of Ireland has road signs only in Gaelic, as it is an area of Ireland designated as one of those areas where the Irish language is to be preserved.
Henry has fallen in love with this country (not just the Guinness either!). The road was narrow all the way down to the tourist centre which overlooked the Blasket Islands. There has been millions spent on the centre which is one of the most impressive tourist centres I have seen. The centre is designed so that people can learn about the way of life of people of Blasket.

After the centre visit we wound our way back to Dingle, a quant town where we had soup on the harbour and then a wander around.
We travelled on and were at the hotel by 4. After a much needed rest (believe me holidays are exhausting (LOL))
Our hotel was in the centre of town and we found a lovely old style milk bar for a hamburger and chips! Henry couldn’t resist a real rock and roll sundae!
